Job description
We are currently seeking a Self- Employed Delivery Drivers to work full time & part time for a large logistics company. Accountant services will be provided to support your self-employed status. You will work on your own but also be part of a team.
You will be provided with a State of the Art manual Van and company fuel card. A uniform will also be provided along with new telecommunications devices.
Daily Start times: between 10.00-12:00
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive a delivery van to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload items from the van at the warehouse and customer sites
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules
- Perform commercial driving duties in accordance with traffic laws and regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
Skills:
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Full UK Driving Licence - Max 6 points - No DR/ IN or TT codes.
- Able to pass a DBS & Drugs & Alcohol test.
- Right to live & work in the UK.
- Able to commute to and from site independently.
- Clear communication
