Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individual's to join our team as a Driver's Mate. As a Driver's Mate, you will assist the driver in delivering goods and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent communication skills.
This role is flexible in not being a 5 day week but is ongoing and busy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
- Safely secure items in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit
- Accompany the driver on delivery routes and provide support as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing friendly and professional service
- Follow delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of deliveries
- Help resolve any customer concerns or issues that may arise during deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout the day
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Benefits:
- 0700-1900 (1 hour lunch break)

- £11.56 per hour
